1.Fort Knox Security & Data reserves the right to cancel any contract entered into with the customer.
2.Fort Knox Security & Data offer very competitive prices however we will also match any price that you find for another installer if it is cheaper (see 'Price Match Guarantee').
3.This quotation remains available for acceptance for 30 days from date submitted; acceptance thereafter is subject to the right of Fort Knox Security & Data to revise the terms quoted and the amount.
4.Where quotations are based on details provided by the Customer, such quotations are subject to the accuracy of the information provided by the customer.
5.After the commencement of work, Fort Knox Security & Data may claim progress payments. Claims amounting to 80% of the value of work done, plus
materials on site at the date of application are permitted.
The balance payable to Fort Knox Security & Data after deductions of any progress payments received shall be due and payable on the day of completion of the work contracted for.
6.Hours of work requiring access to customers building are between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday to Friday. This quotation is based on work being
carried out between these hours,
unless it is stated otherwise by Fort Knox Security & Data.
7.The work detailed in the quotation covers all nominated points. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the quotation meets with their and any third party needs.
8.We will carry out only the installation works described in the quote. If any additional works not described in the quote are found to be
necessary during the course of the installation,
these works will be quoted for separately and only carried out after the customer has completed and signed a variation form.
9.We will do all that we reasonably can to meet the date agreed for installation. However, in the case of any unforeseen circumstances beyond our
reasonable control we may not be able to do so.
In such circumstances we will contact you to arrange an alternative date. The Customer will also do all that he/she reasonably can do to enable the installation to take place on the given date.
In the case of any unforeseen circumstances beyond the Customer's reasonable control the Customer should contact us to arrange an alternative date.
10.It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that, prior to the installation works starting, all furniture and other items are removed from the area of the installation.
11.The customer warrants that the premises will be at all times a safe working environment, and without limitation, shall not involve asbestos or similar hazards or infectious or building diseases.
12.Where the proposal includes the use of existing equipment, Fort Knox Security & Data accepts no responsibility for any warranties that remain in place
for existing equipment,
any warranties that remain in place shall be the responsibility of the customer.
The existing equipment will be checked at the time of commissioning and if any upgrade is required, the customer will be provided with a quotation to cover the cost of rectification.
13.Cabling or Pipe work damaged after installation or pre-wiring will only be repaired if possible, any cost for repair will be the responsibility of the customer.
14.Cabling installed prior to plaster must be brought through the plaster. Cables covered by plaster will be located at the clients expense, Fort Knox Security & Data does not take any responsibility for damage caused during cable locating.
15.In cases of Installations in existing premises, Fort Knox Security & Data accepts no responsibility for damage caused due to the age or quality of the existing materials. Including Brickwork, Mortar, Tiling or Plaster.
16.Removal of any pre-existing equipment may cause some damage to surrounding areas. The agreed price does not cover ('making good'). Neither does it cover painting,decorating, fitting skirting board, tiling or cutting and fitting carpet, unless specifically stated in the quote.
17.Fort Knox Security & Data reserves the right to ownership of the equipment until final payment is received.
1. Price Match offer only applies to identical alarm systems (this means the same Bosch alarm system and motion detectors must be used).
2. We need to see the original quote from the other security company before matching the quote and taking off a further 5%.
4. The price match must be presented before the booking is made.
5. We will not match the price of online prices it must be a quote.
6. Whilst we will price match against any quotations received from other companies, we reserve the right to refuse to price match against any company at our discretion.
